The Hairy Cell Leukemia Foundation (HCLF) is the only U.S.-based nonprofit dedicated to Hairy Cell Leukemia (HCL) with a global reach. Formed and governed by patients with HCL, the HCLF funds research in HCL, educates, and offers peer support to people with HCL and their families around the world.

Story

In September 2021 Nick was diagnosed with Hairy Cell Leukemia. There are excellent treatments for this type of Leukemia, meaning Nick can live a very good quality of life. However, there is currently no cure. Due to the number of treatments, there is not a lot of funding for research into new treatments to hopefully cure this disease in the future. 

Nick, Jim, Jeff and Olivia have decided to take part in the 3 peaks challenge to raise money for the Hairy Cell Leukemia Foundation.
