I was diagnosed with testicular cancer a year ago today. 

It has been a real rollercoaster but I listened to my body and thankfully caught it early having chemotherapy shortly after the first operation. I now have regular check ups on my health from the wonderful staff at Macmillian Cancer Centre in Brighton.  

I am thankful to everyone that looked after me (and my friends / family) so am running a 10k in September with Sarah (my wife) around the stunning Leonardslee Gardens in Sussex to raise money for the Sussex Cancer Fund. 

The Sussex Cancer Fund works with the NHS to create new and improved facilities for cancer care in Sussex, including purchasing specialist equipment, providing additional patient services, refurbishment projects and funding cancer research studies. It is likely that every Cancer Patient in Sussex will have benefitted from something the Sussex Cancer Fund has provided. #RaisedInSussexStaysInSussex.
