Event: BMW Berlin Marathon 2019, on 29 September 2019
Pass some of the most amazing sights the city has to offer and run through the Brandenburg Gate to cross the finish line and become a Berlin legend.

Story

In 2018 I have watched people I care about suffer as loved ones are impacted by Alzheimers.  Seemingly unable to help, strapping on my running shoes as a statement of empathy seems the right thing to do.  I am going to see if I can do 3 hours (damn I shouldn't have said that) to earn the right to ask for your money.  I am also going to do the Marathon du Medoc three weeks before as a 'training run'.  Yes that is dumb... but I hope it inspires you to help.  Stand by for lots of boring run updates.... sorry.

Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
