2017 started with the devastating news that our friends 4 year old son, George,  had been diagnosed with a rare form of Cancer. 

Not only have they been so brave dealing with the day to day challenges that chemotherapy brings, they have set themselves a Giant Challenge, while using their story to bring as much attention as possible to Childhood cancer.

Turns out research into childhood cancers are woefully underfunded, just over £9 million was spent on research into childhood cancer last year, Cancer Research UK's 1% investment of all donations into children's research seems really unfair! No child or family should have to go through the roller coaster that Vicky has so articulately documented on her FB page, the highs and lows of their journey for all of us to see. https://www.facebook.com/georgeandthegiantpledge

Vicky, Woody, Alex and George have set themselves the amazing Challenge of raising £1,000,000 through George and the Giant Pledge for the Royal Marsden hospital to further their research into Childhood cancer.

Time for Mum and I to step up to the plate! 

We have just booked our time slot, its happening, no getting out of it, all paid up, no going back. 

Sunday 30th July somewhere over Salisbury at 15,000ft we will be jumping out of a small rickety plane, and screaming our heads off, whilst plummeting towards the earth for 60 seconds before descending gracefully back to planet earth...............

Loads of amazing people have helped so far with many different fund raising events and the grand total currently stands at close to £350,000 

Please help Mum and I do our bit to help this amazing brave family reach their target.
