Operating Theatre Light for Kalagala Hospital, Bombo, UGANDA · 20 October 2022

Our local partners identify children within the community who need support to access education. We then match these children with a sponsor. We also work to eliminate other barriers to learning such as gender inequality, poor health, poor housing, poor sanitation and poor nutrition.

Story

In October 2022 we visited Kalagala Hospital, Bombo. The operating theatre light has been out of action for some time and cannot be repaired. Surgeon Dr Wilson Mukasa performs his Caesarian sections with just the ceiling lights! 

Please help us to raise £3500 for the purchase of a new operating theatre light.
