St Nicholas has been our parish church for the past 23 years. It needs to raise £1.1million to upgrade its facilities to provide a better worship environment, a restored organ and a better base for community action like debt counselling and English language teaching to asylum seekers and other immigrants. The external masonry, currently crumbling from past air pollution, needs a complete overhaul and restoration before it becomes dangerous or structurally unsound. Additionally, the appeal will support our twin parish in Angola to build its first church building.
