Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm not really sure how I got myself into this as it's all a bit of a blur but some time ago at a weak and vulnerable moment, I was talked into doing a triathlon. I know what you're thinking "OK, sounds tough but people do triathlons all the time and live to tell the tale". This is true, but sadly this is not just any old triathlon, it's the BIG BEN NEVIS TRIATHLON.
It's on 10th September 2011 and consists of the following gruelling events:
1.9km swim in a sea loch
90km (yes 90km ~ 56miles) off road mountain bike
...and finally a hop and a skip up to the top of the UK's highest mountain and back again (21km run).
Why? Well, because it's there...but also to support the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
MS is a cruel disease and our family has witnessed its devastating effects on my Auntie Sian who continues to battle against the illness. MS Society fund research and provide support to sufferers and their families.
