2010 Lisbon Marathon · 5 December 2010

To create a Fellowship into the Research of Burkitt's Lymphoma Cancer, the disease which killed our beloved son Scott, age 31, in November, 2005. The aim of this fellowship will be to help save lives of those who are afflicted with this extremely rare disease

Story

In 2008 I ran the Edinburgh Marathon and raised nearly £2000 - in memory of my friend Scott, who sadly died in 2005, aged 31.

Scott was struck down by Burkitt's Lymphoma - a rare and aggressive form of cancer.  Scott's parents, Wade and Stephanie, run a charitable foundation to help aid research into this disease.

Now I am back - with Carla too!  This time I am going to run the Lisbon Marathon - 26 miles, 385 yards on 5 December 2010.  I can even practise my Portuguese while I'm running.  I am running in support of Scott's Foundation.  Wade and Stephanie are coming to Lisbon to cheer us on!

Carla is running the half marathon too - 13 miles - the longest she has ever run!

Please give what you can.
