I am taking part in the Great North Run on Sunday 16 September and hope to complete the course (13.2miles) in something around 2 hours, if my old bones allow!
I am running for the Prostate Cancer Charity. As many of you may be aware Dad has been battling the disease for some years now with great fortitude and this challenge gives me the opportunity to help support the charity.
Your donations will help the charity to;
Provide vital support for anyone affected by prostate cancer: concerned and diagnosed men, their partners, friends and families.
We are working towards a world where lives are no longer limited by prostate cancer. To get there, we provide a broad range of services and fund a robust research programme as well as awareness raising and campaigning work at a national and local level.
