Qlik Malawi Trip 2019
Campaign by WeSeeHope (RCN 1079385)
From 14th - 20th September 2019 six employees from Qlik will be visiting WeSeeHope's programmes in Malawi.

Story

The average annual income in Malawi is $300. Nearly half the population is under 14 years old, many children orphaned due to AIDS.

I've been given the incredible opportunity to visit some of the people that WeSeeHope, an organisation that we have supported throughout my 8.5 year tenure at Qlik, supports through a variety of projects. I'm both incredibly excited but also anxious about what I'll get to experience and hope to share as much as possible through updates via social media.

WeSeeHope's purpose is to support orphans and vulnerable children living in extreme poverty in Southern and Eastern Africa. Your donations will directly help with:

Early Childhood Development Centres - helping children with the basic learnings to enable them to gain entry to primary school

Kid's Club - helping children socially interact and freeing guardians to work and earn money

Vocational training - helping young people develop a craft and learn business skills

Village Investors Programme - create savings and loans groups in communities to economically empower parents and guardians of orphaned and vulnerable children.
