My First Half Marathon - Running for MS!

London Landmarks Half Marathon 2019 · 24 March 2019 ·
My fabulous wife, Linda, was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis some years ago. What is MS? MS is an unpredictable and incurable condition that affects the nervous system (brain and spinal cord). It is insidious, it can attack suddenly or progress steadily, bringing a range of symptoms which can include sight loss, fatigue and mobility problems. No-one with MS can be sure when or how it will affect them next. Linda manages her condition well with a holistic approach including nutrition, exercise and medication. In support of those with this condition, the MS Society are researching, writing, campaigning and fighting but all of this takes money so the MS Superstars are hoping to raise in excess of £100,000 for people affected by MS. This could help fund vital research into the causes of MS and possible treatments. It could keep the helpline open, answering the calls of those looking for advice and support. It could fund grants, the online forum, informational materials and much more. Help me to help the MS Society help people like Linda. Thanks!
