To create a Fellowship into the Research of Burkitt's Lymphoma Cancer, the disease which killed our beloved son Scott, age 31, in November, 2005. The aim of this fellowship will be to help save lives of those who are afflicted with this extremely rare disease

Story

Hello Everyone

In February I heard that my friend James's dad had died from cancer.  A couple of week's later I saw on Facebook that James was running the Edinburgh Marathon.  I guessed he was running for his dad.  I gave James a call and suggested I run with him - in memory of my dad, who died from cancer, 23 years ago next month and my friend Scott who also sadly died in 2005, aged 31.  Both are missed very much.

Scott was struck down by Burkitt's Lymphoma - a rare and aggressive cancer.  After his death, Scott's parents Wade and Stephanie established a charitable foundation to help aid research into this disease.  I am running in support of Scott's Foundation.

James and I up to about 24 miles so far - the marathon is 26 miles 385 yds.

Please give what you can.

Thanks

Nick Cox
