In Memory of Nick Barton

Jonathan Barton is raising money for The Myton Hospices
In memory of Nick Barton
We support thousands of people living with terminal illnesses & their families, in our three hospices, via our patient & family support services, and in the community through Myton at Home. We need to raise £12.7 million this year to provide our services free of charge – we can’t do it without you!

Story

Thank you for visiting our page dedicated to the memory of Nick Barton, who sadly passed away on 14 March 2021 aged 61. Dad was diagnosed with terminal cancer in July 2019, and true to form, he never let it get him down and fought hard all the way to the end.

Dad's main wish after his diagnosis was to be able to pass away at home - Myton at Home gave him his wish, and allowed him to be in the place he loved at the end of his life. Myton carers supported my dad in his final days with real compassion and care, got to know our family well, and made it possible for him to stay at home.

Please give generously, if you are able to, in memory of Nick and to help other families to give their loved ones support and comfort in their final days. Myton Hospice relies on donations and every penny helps families during the most difficult of times.
