Please support my Zumba fundraiser - by 'buying' an on-line ticket and attending, or giving a donation!

Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page.

To mark my 60th birthday I am raising funds for vulnerable people living in Essex.

Every single penny raised will go to an existing fund which is focussed on victims of different types of abuse (women and men), young women in need of education or support to gain more independence and improve their self-esteem, and older women, for example, suffering from isolation in their own homes.

I am raising funds in two ways:

1. holding a Zumbathon on Saturday 22 June 2019 in Stansted, Essex (see below for details).

 2. asking for donations from my friends, family, neighbours, colleagues and anyone else who might know me or who have kindly visited this JustGiving page, who are unable to attend my Zumbathon event.

All money raised will go to my existing fund named 'The Nicki Alvey Bazlinton Trust' established in 2015 and managed by Essex Community Foundation (Registered Charity Number 1052061).

I am proud that my first Trust grant was made in 2018, with money going to Southend Vineyard to support ‘The Promise Project’, a community-based drop-in service for women and girls who are being exploited through prostitution.  The scheme offers a safe place where they can have a warm meal and receive support, including making appointments at sexual health clinics, referrals to counselling and other recovery treatments for drug and alcohol abuse.

Date/time: Saturday 22 June 2019, 2pm until at least 4pm (doors open 1.45pm). Come when you can and stay as long as you want. Space for all – please bring friends and family; first timers welcome!  Come along and join in the fun!

Venue/location: 1Life Mountfitchet Romeera Leisure Centre Gym, Forest Hall Road, Stansted Mountfitchet, Essex CM24 8TZ (next to Forest Hall School). Free parking available in the leisure centre car park.

Suggested entry ticket price: £10. To be added to the list of event attendees type the word "TICKET" when making your donation through this JustGiving page.  Please make sure your donation is not anonymous, so we have your name for the event entry list. If you would like to donate more than £10, that would be simply brilliant!

If you are unable to join me on the day, any donations would be extremely welcomed and appreciated by even more vulnerable people living in Essex.

PLEASE HELP spread the word by telling your friends, neighbours, colleagues and family about my 60th birthday charity fundraising campaign. Thank you.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to my named Trust held at, and managed by, Essex Community Foundation. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for my charity.
