Elizabeth and I have decided to take part in the Moonlight Walk in aid of St Michael's Hospice. 8 years ago, at the hospice, they supported my father in his last few days of life. Then last November, the Hospice Nurses provided amazing support to mum. They made her as comfortable as possible in her final days before she lost her battle with Dementia. The hospice provides both physical and emotional support, during what is often the worst possible of times. 

The cost of running the Hospice and providing the full range of services to our patients is over £6million a year. With around one third of this being provided by the NHS we need to raise the balance, circa £4.3million, over £12,000 per day, from voluntary sources
