Story
As many of you know I was diagnosed with bowel cancer in July 2017 at the age of 38. After an extended right hemicolectomy to remove half my colon and the naughty tumour, followed by chemotherapy, the doctors are pleased with my progress.
43% of bowel cancer cases are diagnosed in ppl aged 75 years and over, 95% are diagnosed aged over 50 and around 5% of new bowel cancer cases are in ppl aged under 50.
My oncology team have said they are seeing more younger ppl being diagnosed with Bowel Cancer so I decided to take part in Step up for 30! With abit of luck I can raise some money towards a good cause for more research into this disease and I am proof early diagnosis can saves lives !
I am incredibly lucky so here it goes; 30 days of 30 minutes of exercise for the whole of June!
Any donation will be greatly appreciated ! 😘😘
