My daughter has recently found the strength to escape a violent relationship within which she experienced domestic, financial and emotional abuse for many years. Pandora Project are there to provide help and support for women just like her and, without it, many return to violent relationships.

The furthest distance I have run is just 10k so this half marathon is a real challenge for me. I am so proud of my daughter for finding the strength to leave and rebuild a life for herself and her children and I know that, when I'm feeling like I want to give up, I will think of her and draw on her strength to be able to complete the event.
