I (Nick Marsh) have signed on the dotted line and committed myself to climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. My wife Cath is also doing the climb for another charity (CLAPA) and they also have a page on this website, they had been talking about doing the challenge for some time now, and finally managed to organize themselves to trek the mosho route on 22nd October 2010. The trek will require strength, stamina, endurance and a sense of humour!

And you may be asking why?! ......... we have been asking ourselves the same question! But seriously the motivation has come from a desire to raise money for FAB Frenchay After Burns club for children, a charity that helps promote the rehabilitation and the relief of the suffering of burn injured children (and their families) who have been treated at the south west’s regional burn unit currently at Frenchay Hospital and/or live in the catchment area for the burns unit.. Some of you may be laughing at me!!... but I am taking this challenge very seriously and I want to raise as much money as I can for a very worthy local charity. I am asking local businesses and clubs to support me by either sponsoring me by donating money to this website, or directly to me, other ways to support this challenge are to donate items of clothing for the climb or items that I can auction to raise money. FAB Frenchay After Burns Club for Children rely heavily upon charitable donations to continue their invaluable work.
