Like many people this year I've really gotten into running, which for me is surprising as I've never been a 'runner'. This is because I was born with Talipes (club foot). I was operated on and looked after by Great Ormond Street Hospital as a child, and it is because of them that, really, I can run in the first place.
Beyond much smaller things like that, Great Ormond street do amazing and pioneering work in paediatric care, specialising in cancer treatment, heart surgeries, and neurosurgery. Whenever I've been at GOSH, I've noticed that the level of care given to all children, regardless of their reason for being there, is incredible.
So to challenge myself, and to raise some money in this weird time, I've signed up for the London Parks half marathon in April.
Any support would be hugely appreciated!
