We are here to offer UK-based advice and support to people with birthmarks and their families. We are a registered charity, set up in 1998 by parents of children with vascular birthmarks.

Story

Well, I made it! The first half was fine, but I now see what people mean when they talk about 'hitting the wall' at mile 20! My final time was 4hours 27mins and 2 secs, with which I feel quite pleased. A great experience but not one to be repeated!

My thanks to those who have sponsored me; there is still time to use this page for those who have not!.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Birthmark Support Group will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. 10% of the amount raised will also go to Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children with which the BSG has strong links.

The Birthmark Support Group aims to support those of any age with a birthmark, provide information to families on treatment and raise the awareness of birthmarks amongst the public in general and the medical profession in particular. It is a small charity and relies entirely on its own fund raising efforts. Thank you for your support!
