Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is the world's leading medical humanitarian aid organisation. We work in over 70 countries - in conflict zones, natural disasters and epidemics. We are independent, neutral and impartial. We provide medical care where it's needed most.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am asking you to sponsor me in my desperate attempt to create music on the trombone which, as everyone knows, I cannot play… yet. I will then join other similarly handicapped people to display our inabilities in public in what will undoubtedly be “the musical event” to attend in 2015, which takes place on 22 February 2015 at University Faculty, West Road: “Clueless in Competition”. I shall be participating in this competition where my newly acquired skills will be used in the battle between the highly strung, brassed off and long winded. I will also be herding the cellists in the highly strung!

I am doing this because there are so many places in this world at present that urgently require front-line medical care to rein in the worst effects of famine, disease and war and Medecins sans Frontieres supply volunteering professionals to nearly every hell-hole the world has to offer.
