As many of you know, Steve died very suddenly last  year and as a family we were shocked to find out that the cause of his death was heart disease. Having suffered no symptoms leading up to this, it has made us realise how important it is that we raise funds for more research into preventing this disease and also into diagnosing it sooner by developing some sort of screening.  The hope is that other families won't suffer the loss of their loved ones as many others have.

Last year we ran in the 10k race to raise funds in Steve's memory.  This year, although our numbers are reduced (due to injuries and family commitments), we wanted it to be more of a challenge, so we will be doing the Half Marathon!!!!
