I have been lucky enough this year to secure a place in the London Marathon public ballot. Having run a little in the past I thought I would try my luck not thinking for one second I would be lucky enough to get a place.

 4 years ago I never thought I would be doing any kind of running again after having major neck surgery, however after building on my fitness and training I feel am just about ready for the biggest challenge of my life.

I have chosen to fundraise for The British Heart Foundation with my sister Karen.

This is a cause close to our hearts as our Uncle Peter is here because of research and awesome  medical science following his multiple heart bypass. 

Although no longer here my father-in-law Trevor also had a heart bypass which gave him many more happy years before his passing in 2019. 

I would love your support in reaching the target for this amazing charity who do such valuable and meaningful work. They have over 800 research projects in progress at present.

The British Heart Foundation can only continue to keep funding life changing research with support from people like you. Every donation you make help funds scientific breakthroughs that can save and improve the lives of millions suffering from heart and circulatory diseases.
