I'm doing a charity skydive on Saturday 9th August in memory of my mum who sadly passed away on the 9th March last year from Systemic Sclerosis Scleroderma. It is a chronic disease of the blood vessels, the immune system and the connective tissue and is so rare and uncommon it affects about 20 per 1 million of the population in the UK per year.

Her condition was made more complicated by other health issues, mainly Von Hippel Lindau disease which causes tumours in the brain.

At the moment, due to the rareness of the condition there is no known cure. So please give generously to help raise awareness for this illness so that a cure can be found.
