Hi everyone. 

Well what a year it’s been!!  Because of Coronavirus the London Marathon couldn’t go ahead in the normal way last year but I am thrilled to announce that I completed the Virtual London Marathon on the 4th October 2020 which was still a huge achievement for me and was still able to defer my marathon place to this year. 

That being said I have secured a place in The London Marathon 2021 & hope this will still go ahead. 🤞🏼 It is something I have always wanted to do. It will be another huge achievement for me personally & I would love nothing more than to give something back, so hopefully one day we will find a cure for this horrid disease. I need to raise £2,500.00. Can you help me achieve this? 

I am raising money for Pancreatic Cancer UK because it is charity very close to my heart.....and here’s why!! 

In Sept 2003 my Mum was diagnosed with a rare & aggressive type of Pancreatic Cancer. She was only given a 2% chance of survival but then the doctor said there is some “good news”....you’re operable!! However, if you survive the operation it might only give you an extra 5 years tops. 

She took her chances & underwent a 10 hour operation having a procedure called Whipple's. There were some very hard times / challenging times / dark times but after extensive Chemotherapy & Radiotherapy treatments I’m pleased to shout out that in September this year she will have been CLEAR for 18 years! SHE’S A WALKING MIRACLE & we are so thankful to still have her around today. . 

My Auntie Sue (Mums Sister) was not so fortunate. She was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in 2009. She was not operable & was dead within 8 weeks. It was devastating.
