13 years ago my grandad got diagnosed with angiosarcoma, a very rare cancer. My grandad had undergone many operations on his face and head throughout the 13 years and not once did he ever let it affect or control his life. He was a true inspiration to all his family and friends. In 2021 his doctor told him he was very very lucky to have reached 13 years with this cancer. Unbeknown to him and us that the cancer would quickly spread throughout his body. We had a tough few months, but again my grandad took it in his stride and did not let it rule his life. He was an amazing man who will be remembered forever. We would like to raise awareness of this type of cancer because its not the most common and its different to other cancers of how it forms in the body.
