So this confirms it, I am totally bonkers, but it's all for a fabulous cause and so its worth it.

What am I doing? - I am running the Leeds 10K Run for All on 14th July to raise money for St George's Crypt in Leeds.

All who know me know how completely unfit I am at the moment having done very little in the way of exercise since I had my gorgeous little angel Noah who is now allmost 3 !!  I have also recently found out I have Asthma and so this has spurred me on to rebuild and improve my fitness.  So I thought to myself if I am going to get fit, do it with a goal in mind and raise some money for charity.  Now along with the help of my fab personal trainer Antony and a new found determination I hope you will help me raise as much money as possible for my chosen charity.  Every donation will be greatfully received and put to good use.

St George's Crypt is a Charity run to aid the homeless of Leeds.  They provide 40 beds 365 days a year and hot meals twice a day.  They also have some more private rooms for longer term residents.  As well as helping to feed the clients they also provide ammenities to help them keep themsleves clean, clothed, launder their clothes and then as support provide skills workshops, help boost self confidence and medical and dental appointments too.

I personally have spent time at the Crypt through work providing a fun day for the clients and staff and then volunteering in the kitchen.  Let me tell you, listening to some of the clients stories and how easily we could all fall into being homeless is a real eye opener. 

What is heart warming to see is all the clients are proud of The Crypt and work together to ensure it is a continued place of peace they can all use.  The staff and volunteers are a wonderful positive energy that are inspirational to me and all that meet them.
