Story
Hi all,
Firstly , I would like to tell you the reason for signing up for the thing that scares me the most which is heights, and the activity I swore down never to do, Skydiving....
I was always aware of the Grace Trust and the support they provided the most vulnerable in Jersey. I went about my life admiring there work from a distance and wishing them well. We also sponsored them at my work , Collas Crill.
Gerry one of the managers at Grace Trust and a close family friend, attended church with the Grace Trust team . Gerry shared updates on the charity, the struggles they face daily, we prayed and the choir worshiped with us . The joy and support for each other was so moving when the sang together. I wanted to join!
After meeting the team ( shout out to Archie) and hearing the testimonies of those receiving support, I knew that doing nothing was not an option. The choir and volunteers had touched my heart.
Gerry told us of the losses the charity had gone through recently , loosing friends of the Grace Trust to alcoholism. You knew that the loss was felt deep , you knew that the team had not only fed, counselled those suffering with this disease , but had offered them a sense of family , healing and love. A place where those who had no one could feel safe.
We were also updated on the continued need for the food bank in Jersey ,where those who were struggling to feed their families, could go, no questions asked. Food was provided, together with the offer of support, friendship, help and love.
I know I’m guilty of taking things for granted, not counting my blessings. you never know what life will throw at you , but the Grace Trust will be there with our continued support for those who need it most.
So on my quest to help, I quickly realised that there was no way , I was going to jump out of a plane alone, so I found my craziest / kindest friends and they have also agreed to jump with me.
Love you guys to the moon and back xxxxxx
Fleur (of course I’m in ) Pallot
Chloe ( she made me do it) Burnett

Please do give generously, the money raised will help the Grace Trust continue to offer the love and support to those most in need.
