Story
Two years ago on the 11th December my sister ,Jill, and Leanne's aunt Jill lost her brave battle to breast cancer. She always put everyone first, she was the most kindest thoughtful helpful genuine person I have ever known and probably ever will again.
And also several years ago Leanne's nan lost her battle and gained her wings after a very difficult and complex battle with cancer.
There latter days were spent a the Coventry and Warwick Myton Hospice. Many of us have the misconception that's where we go in our final days and all doom and gloom, but we soon realised it was much more than that and actually the time spent there for not just patient but for family and relatives too were where lasting memories could be made without the clinical environment and dedicated one to one care and family centred approach given was priceless, in making such an upsetting and deverstating time more manageable.
However for myton to keep giving a priceless and dedicated one to one service and understanding of the illness and how it effects so many of us they rely on charity funding and therefore events like this and many more need to keep giving to keep there's services alight. So we ask no matter how little please could you sponsor us as we aim to climb kilimanjaro in memory for all those we've lost and those who continue to fight there battle.
Lots of love Nikki and Leanne xx
