For those of you who know the situation with my big brother David, there are no other words to describe him than my rock, my best friend and someone whom I will always look up to. I am going to be swimming the equivalent of the width of the English Channel - which is 1320 lengths of a 25 meter pool - and will take me around 6 months to compete. This is to raise funds for the Stroke Association. My goal of £525 will go towards achieving things such as: 

£56 - cost of a new volunteer

£130 - help pay for research into new treatments 

£250 - 1hr helpline activity 

£525 - block communication
