In memory of Alun Rees
We offer hospice at home services to people living with life-limiting illness

Story

As you are probably aware my dad, Alun Rees of New Hedges, died in October. He was diagnosed with stomach cancer only three weeks before his death. This was, as you can imagine, an incredibly difficult time for us all, but the Paul Sartori Foundation was wonderful in making it possible for dad to come home before he died. This was an immense comfort for us, and we wanted to give something back to the Foundation by way of fundraising,

I am aiming to run 100 miles in sponsored races (not all in one go!) in 2015. This will essentially take the form of eight half marathons around the country, but starting with the  Paris Half Marathon in March. The other runs include The Swansea Half, The Great North Run, The Severn Bridge Half Marathon, The Long Course Weekend, The Great Welsh Half Marathon in Llanelli, and will finish with the Cardiff Half Marathon in October.

About the charity

The Paul Sartori Foundation is a Hospice at Home Service covering the county of Pembrokeshire since 1981. It has grown enormously over the years and offers an usually high level of support and range of services. Your kind support helps us provide vital services. Thank you
