Story
My beautiful daughter Molly was diagnosed with bone cancer at 10 years old. She fought this awful disease with all her might for 7 years. On the 16th August 2022, at the tender age of 17, Molly lost her battle. She is the bravest person I have ever known and I miss her so so much.
On the 26th April Molly would have turned 18. It should have been a day of celebration, starting her adult life but this was taken away from her. Instead the day just reinforced how much she is missed.
I want to do something in Mollys memory that is going to take a lot of courage, which is what Molly had in abundance. I've decided the best way to do this is to jump out of a plane at 15,000 ft. I will do this on Sunday 21st May at Dunkeswell Airfield, Honiton.
I am doing this to raise money for Children’s Hospice South West. Little Bridge House, part of Children’s Hospice South West, provided respite breaks for us and looked after Molly during her final weeks. We even managed to have some fun times, laughing and making memories. Without the hospice it would have been very different as Mollys pain would not have been under control at home, we will be forever grateful to them.
Support was provided for the whole family during this difficult, heartbreaking time, even our Pugs, Patrick & Nala were able to stay at Little Bridge House with Molly for those final weeks, they were her world ❤️
We continue to receive care & support with bereavement groups, visits from our nurse and carer and memory days, this support is on going for as long as we need it.
In memory of Molly to celebrate her 18th birthday please help me support this very worthy cause. Thank you for reading our story xxx
