Jay started Inbetweenears 12 months after receiving his terminal diagnosis of brain cancer. He was 25 when diagnosed and give. 6 months to live. After the protocol treatment he started Imbetweenears to help other young adults experiencing brain cancer and to give funds to brain cancer research.

Story

Nicola, our daughter, sister, aunty, friend, dance teacher and true inspiration passed away peacefully on May 26th 2016, after an eight year battle with a brain tumour.

She fought with positivity, grace and patience. Four major brain surgeries, radiotherapy, four gruelling ten month long chemo sessions, to mention but a few things. She never said ‘It’s not fair’. She just got on with it. Every time the tumour knocked her down she got up and fought harder.

Despite losing her life at a very young age, in her last days she was still thinking about other people. She wanted to raise money for this very good cause in the hope that she could make other people’s fight just a little bit easier and help with tumour research.

When life gave her a hundred reasons to cry, she came up with a thousand reasons to smile.
