Story

That's right people!  Can you believe it! I am running the London Marathon this year!

I am so lucky to be able to run for this charity.  In 2001 our beautiful and inspirational grandma died after being diagnosed with cancer.  Thanks to St Raphael's Hospice, she was able to be at home for the last part of her journey, with her family and her husband, our grandad, who she was married to for 50 years.

I have never forgotten the support given to our family during this brief time and I am so overwhelmed that I have been given a chance to represent them.

Personally, I have dreamt of running the Marathon, and I am so happy that I am in a position now to feel confident and able enough to be able to do so.  The trials that I am sure to face during the training will all be worth it when I finally reach the end.  I am nothing if not determined!

Running this marathon will make such an impact on my life, but it is nothing compared to the impact that Agnes Brennan made to the lives of all of her family, especially her grandchildren.

If you are able to donate, each penny will take me closer to the target and make a difference.  I would also love it if you could suggest a song that I should put on my marathon playlist.  It'll make my run even more special on the day.
