Ronald McDonald House Charities provides free 'home away from home' accommodation at specialist children's hospitals across the UK, enabling families to stay close to their child and maintain a degree of normal family life.There are many families who need support. We used their accommodation recently and saw the huge benefit it had helping families whilst their child is in hospital.  It allowed us to be close by to Jack whilst he was in Sick Kids as he was in critical care we were not allowed to stay in his room.  We were very lucky that his stay was short and we lived not far away but for others their stay can be months or years.  To help build even more Houses across the UK, I will be running #TeamRMHCUK at the Edinburgh Marathon Festival 2022.
