In Early 2016, after celebrating my daughters first  Christmas, my amazing Mum(Sandra) was diagnosed with terminal cancer. It came as such a shock to us as only weeks earlier she was full of energy celebrating Christmas with us all, merrily playing games around the table. 

Since being diagnosed My Mum has spent many hours at St Luke’s for treatments such as blood transfusions to social clubs. She sings St Luke’s praises all of the time. She is currently organising the first  St Luke’s open garden event a big undertaking and I’m sure it is going to be a great success. 

I can’t thanks St Luke’s enough for the care they have shown Mum, this hospice is more than end of life care it is a place you go to for treatment and weekly clubs/socials.
