I wanted to complete the St Helens 10k to challenge myself whilst losing weight. It is also an ideal opportunity for me to try and raise money for charity. I have chosen to try and help Harvey's Army as it is a charity close to my heart. The people behind Harvey's Army work tirelessly to reunite lost pets, scanning deceased pets so that their owners can be informed and helping to raise money for animals that have been neglected and abused. Being an animal lover, i think it is important that a charity like this is able to continue growing and carry on doing the amazing work which they are doing now.
