I want to help raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of Pancreatic Cancer "The Silent Killer" which is set to become the UK's 4th biggest cause of cancer deaths.
Why is it the 'Silent Killer'?
The signs and symptoms of PC (Pancreatic Cancer) can vary from person to person and every patients journey is different. However, PC is often mis-diagnosed or doesn't show as serious symptoms until it's too late.
Too late?
The key to surviving PC is early diagnosis. The sooner treatment can be started, a persons chances of survival increase considerably.
So what are the symptoms?
Symptoms can include one, or a combination of the following: Jaundice, Unexplained Weight loss, Upper abdominal pain or discomfort, Mid-back pain or discomfort or pale and smelly stools.
