1 in 4 people are effected by heart disease. Heartbeat are not funded by any external agencies such as the government or NHS. They rely soley on donations and fundraising. Last year they raised awareness with talks to over 3500 local school children and trained up 220 people in life saving skills. 

Each week 900 patients who suffer with cardiac disease are supported by heartbeat. The aim is to rebuild their lives. They run regular cardiac rehabilitation classes, help to monitor the health of those suffering with heart disease and focus on improving their quality of life. Every penny raised will help support the cause.
