As a mother, a business owner, and as the Director of the Children, Youth & Family Services division of Washington County Mental Health, I know all too well what is at stake when we fail to believe and invest in the youth in our community.

Funding for mental health services continues to be at risk while suicide rates here in VT are on the rise. Meanwhile, we know that intervening early yields far better results than waiting until kids are older, and often harder to reach.
