So on 29 March 2020 I will be running/hobbling the Sheffield Half Marathon...what have I done🙈 I started the couch to 5k program on 31 March 2019 and so will hopefully complete couch to half marathon in a year which is a massive achievement for me.

I am also running in memory of our dear Lynsey Madgwick who sadly passed away in November 2018. Lynsey was a beautiful person both inside and out. She was kind, caring and selfless and was loved by everyone that met her. She adored her family and I know it devastated her to think that she would leave them behind.

I have decided to raise funds for the Jane Tomlinson Appeal as they provide a bereavement service to children who have lost someone close to them like a parent or sibling. They also provide support to children and promote health and wellbeing. In addition they fund research for breast cancer and support for people battling cancer. Finally I personally think that Jane was such an inspirational person running whilst terminally ill to raise money for cancer research. I only hope I can make Lynsey and Jane proud to raise money for this wonderful charity. Your donation will be very much appreciated and will keep me going as to be honest I am feeling quite overwhelmed by the challenge.
