Loved ones are the most important part of our lives. When my brother was diagnosed with bowel cancer, the saying "it happens to the best of us" really resonated with me. The facts about bowel cancer are scary, and the thought of losing someone dear to you to it is even scarier.

My hope is that one day we see a world where we don't have that worry, where testing is normalised and promoted among all age groups to catch early signs before they turn sinister.

My brother is one of the best of them - a kind, generous, loving, supportive and compassionate father, husband, son and brother. He is a true inspiration to me - one of my idols. 

For him, and everyone else fighting the same fight, I will be (almost) shaving my head in late March/early April and donating the hair that is cut off to those in need. Again, sorry mum and dad! If you can help me along the way, I will greatly appreciate any and all support ❤
