This year we lost James Gibbons to knife crime, he was a generous, caring and hard-working dad, fiancé, brother, son and friend. He was taken from us too soon by a cruel and heinous crime. Not only do we need justice for James but we also need to raise awareness and prevent these crimes from happening in the future. 

I chose the The Ben Kinsella Trust as knife crime is a very close subject to mine and my family due to James's story. They campaign for action and justice for those affected by knife crime. The goal of the charity is that no family or community should suffer the loss of a life to knife crime - they do this through educating, collaborating and campaigning. There is still so much work to be done as 44,292 knife crime offences were recorded in 2020. 

Any donations are incredibly appreciated and will help make a difference to prevent and stop knife crime in the UK. Thank you in advance and I'll go get training for September.
