The Challenge takes place on the 18th June  and will involve 8 hours of gruelling adventure racing including a run,  a mountain bike and a canoe.  We are raising money to support the operation of the fire fighters charity which supports the entire UK fire services community. In the first year of the coronavirus pandemic traditional fundraising was bought to a halt, with the cancellation or postponement of countless events and challenges. In all, it is estimated that they may raise only around 50% of the usual annual fundraising income this year, which means that they may have to curtail ambitions and plans for the future.  We want to ensure that this great charity, which has supported firefighters through all sorts of difficult times, for example the tragic Grenfell Tower incident, can continue to support firefighters and their families.
