My sisiter was diagnosed with Brest cancer in December 2010 and following initial treatment in 2011 was doing well. In March 2012 she began to feel unwell again and a further diagniosis revealed that the cancer had spread to her liver and left lung-further treatment followed and despite putting up a brave fight she lost her battle on may 4th this year. The Heart of Kent Hospice provided her with care for the last 5 weeks of her life, making every minute of her day as bearable as they could to enable her to have some quality of life.
