Story

Hi Guys

Its that time again, for Jon and myself to get on two wheels for a cycle challenge and raise some money for a worthy cause. Once again we will be attempting the C2C Trans Pennine route from Hornsea to , the challenge this time though is to cycle the route in one single day and under 10 hrs of cycling, for the hilly 145 miles.

Sunday the 18th Oct 09 is the chosen date, and at 7.30 in the morning our legs will start turning the peddles on the following route: Hornsea - Beverley - Goole - Pontefract - Wakefield - Dewsbury - Brighouse - Ripponden - Blackstone Edge (bloody steep bit) - Rochdale - Bury - Bolton - Standish - Parbold and finaly 145 miles later, the pier head at sunny Southport.

Having been inspired by both the heroic efforts of Eddie Izzard and his recent Marathon Challange, plus this years Tour De France come back of the legend that is Lance Armstrong, our chosen charity is "Sport Relief" (see attached links), which through sport raises money for positive U.K. charitable causes, and is exactly the type of charity we were looking for and exactly where we need your help and assistance.

So please please dig down the back of your sofa and search deep in your pockets for any contribution you can manage in this credit crunch of times, no contribution is considerd to small or big, pence or pounds are all welcome.

Both Jon and Nigel thank you very much indeed for your moral and financial support
