Big Doggy Paddle 2019
Campaign by PDSA (RCN 208217 & SC037585)
PDSA Big Doggy Paddle participants will be 'rescued' from Portishead Marina by specially trained Newfoundland water rescue dogs. This 'bucket list' experience will raise funds to help PDSA's vets and vet nurses continue their vital lifesaving work.

Story

All pets deserve a happy and healthy life and should not suffer because their owner can't afford the care their pet needs.

Imagine the anxiety and distress you would feel if you couldn't afford the treatment and care your pet needed to get well?
PDSA  provide compassionate free and low cost vet care for those who can't afford it.  PDSA vets are there, for pet owners, when they have nowhere else to turn.

Without PDSA people struggling financially would not be able to afford to care for their sick or injured pet.  For people facing adversity and hardship, the companionship of their pet can be the only light, joy, in their lives.  People in need need a pet the most.

So I'm going to confront two things I am not keen on.  Deep cold water and big hairy dogs. To raise money so PDSA can be there to protect that special bond between a pet and their owner.
