Story
Hi guys thanks for visiting our page.
Ok so its not a triple challenge anymore, please read on!
Well here we go again I hear you say! Yep my thoughts exactly, London to Brighton 100km in under 30 hours, been there done that (twice) so what's new? Well lets double that this year and mix things up a bit. I'll be taking on 2 x100km treks this year just six weeks apart. Both to be completed in under 30hours with no sleep!! Surely that's worth a quid or two?! London to Oxford 13th May then London to Brighton 24th June. Harry Heart will be keeping me company during all the treks. Just signed up to take on the Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge as well on the 8th July just two weeks after London to Oxford! Rach will be joining me on the 3 peaks challenge, 24 miles, 3 peaks, over 5,000ft of ascent in under 12 hours!!
Why am I doing this?
1. I'm mad!
2. I like a challenge and want to push myself that little bit further.
3. Most importantly of all, to help save lives. if I can help save just one life then it's all been worth it. I'm a regular blood donor too and I've recently signed up with DKMS to be on the bone marrow donor register.
Raising money for the British Heart Foundation's research and I'd be so grateful for your support. The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. Every pound I raise counts so please give what you can to help me hit my target.
Thank you all so much for your love, support, reading all this and hopefully and most importantly of all........ your MONEY!!!!
Love and hugs
Nigel
