I have decided to run 5.2 km or more twice a week during the month of March. In addition I am going to walk for at least 5.2 km every week.

I was very shocked by recent statistics showing that 1 in 52 people in London are homeless, many of them living in emergency accommodation or sleeping rough. This situation has deteriorated further during the past year due to the pandemic and help is desperately needed for poor people finding themselves without a roof over their heads.

£5 could provide food for a homeless person 

£20 could ensure that 5 people receive a hearty meal

£50 could pay for a homeless person to get a new set of clothes for an interview

£80 could pay for one month at a breakfast club that provides food, warming and positive engagement for a homeless person in one of our services  

Evolve Housing + Support continues to support homeless people in London, first by providing a safe place to sleep, then 360 degree support through its community services. This has resulted in 78% of residents moving on to positive independence.
