Did you know that 1 in 8 men in the UK will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime and i am one within this statistic. I was diagnosed last year and thanks to the NHS I am hopefully on the road to full recovery. I was lucky to have the support of my friends and family through this ordeal. My wife was on that same journey with me and boy was I glad she was there to shoulder and carry me every step of the way. I am lucky to have that support but there are many that do not.

I’m taking on the Walk 100 Miles in September challenge for PCR to raise the money and help make a difference to men and their families who have been affected by prostate cancer.
